Program Curriculum

Who are we?

For over 10 years, Leadership Seminole has succeeded in educating existing and potential community leaders about issues important to Seminole County and the region.

By doing so, we believe community leaders will focus on issues facing Seminole County and its position in the region, reach a better understanding of community needs, and find ways to apply this knowledge to improve the Seminole County region.

Many of the nearly 700 graduates of Leadership Seminole are actively engaged in the community as individuals or by participating in their employers community outreach programs. Examples include service on non-profit and community boards, participating in community service organizations, volunteering time to agencies that help the disadvantaged and disabled, serving as mentors to at-risk students, teaching students the value of good character in business as well as many others.

Our commitment

Create programs that bring present and future community leaders together for the sharing of knowledge designed to inspire them to step forward and make a difference in the community.

Strengthen the professional community by offering a curriculum that challenges the minds of its participants towards a shared goal of community trusteeship.

Develop the basic elements of strong leadership in each participant as he or she becomes a force of change in our community.
